Every morning I stand and witness an empty space in front of me, in my room. The gong rings. I close my eyes, I take one step forward. After a while I witness what is born within my body. I witness what wants to appear right now, what it is that wants to or can be seen: raising my arm higher, stopping, a deep sigh, yawning, sounds, despair that arises, head coming down towards my knees, swinging…Later on I witness an end. The gong rings. I come back to the place from where I started. I witness an empty space. 

An exhibition consists of approximately 365 (A4 format) drawings in oil pastels. All these drawings were made during the daily practice of the Authentic Movement Discipline. They were drawn with a non-dominant, left hand. Author: Ingrida Danytė
