trust the body
Gediminas sees the body as a perpetual teacher of authentic life. His personal mission is to assist others in discovering and nurturing their connection with the body. Gediminas works in an intuitive and dynamic way, respecting the needs of specific situations. Witnessing space, touch, authentic movement and analytical perspective are some of the many ways applied in support of the client. Gediminas has practiced somatic meditation for many years and applies it as a solid ground for body exploration processes.
Gediminas has a vast array of interests – from mindfulness practices, therapy, arts to more intellectual spheres like sociology, anthropology and cognitive sciences. All these explorations are united by the same existential consideration of human suffering and authentic life.
From 2017 to 2020 Gediminas studied in the somatic therapy programme in Vilnius, established by Linda Hartley’s Institute for Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy, London.
At the moment Gediminas is the only male facilitator of bodywork and experiential body explorations in Lithuania.
Gediminas works both individually and with groups.
Gediminas does not yet live on a mountain but he definitely lives in his body. He is a person in whom both male and female qualities go hand in hand harmoniously. He has an open glance to himself and the environment, curiosity and ability to See.
